Jim Jim Falls
During the dry season it's possible to walk through the majestic monsoon forest, over small and large boulders, to the base of Kakadu's biggest waterfall. Garnamarr Campground is located beside the Jim Jim Falls access road, about 50km from the Kakadu Highway, which you'll turn off about 43km south of the Bowali Centre.
The Lost City
Located in Litchfield National Park, the Lost City presents stunning rock formations that are only accessible by 4WD. Although there is no camping at the Lost City, there are several campsites within Litchfield National Park that provide a perfect base for exploring.
Limmen National Park
Located 275km South-East of Katherine and 65km from Borroloola. It is a popular destination for 4WD and fishing enthusiasts. The park boasts stunning landscapes, including spectacular sandstone formations and associated wetlands and 4WD tracks. There are several campsites in the area, including at Towns River, Butterfly Falls and Limmen River.
Binns Track
This adventurous 4WD track is over 2,230km long, stretching through the sights of Central Australia and the Big Rivers regions of the Northern Territory. The track crosses through some of the most remote and lesser-known sights of the Territory. There are numerous campsites along the track including at Gemtree Caravan Park, Bullita Campground and Judbarra/ Gregory National Park to name a few.
